Terms and Conditions

Bookings

These terms constitute the entire agreement and understanding between you and Voyas Tours Limited. Your booking once accepted and confirmed in writing to you represents a contract between all persons named on the booking form and Voyas Tours Limited. In circumstances where Voyas Tours Limited act as an agent for a tour operator, carrier or hotel, bookings will be subject to that tour operator’s, carrier’s or hotel’s terms and conditions.

 

Price and Payment

Prices are valid as published in our current brochure. When payment is made you will receive confirmation of your reservation. If applicable you will also receive confirmation of any final balance owing. The outstanding amount must be paid by the due date specified. Should we not receive payment by that date we reserve the right to treat your booking as cancelled and you may have to pay cancellation charges. Details of cancellation charges that apply are outlined below.You may not seek to rely on system errors with a view to obtaining a booking at less than the correct price. Any contract entered into upon a mistake, such as wrong costing due to a system error will not be valid or binding. Amendments we can make are changes in transportation costs (including the cost of fuel, duties, taxes or fees chargeable for services and exchange rates) mean that the price of your travel arrangements may change after you have booked. Voyas Tours Limited reserves the right to charge for any increase if there is a change within 30 days of your departure. We will endeavour to notify you of any change in advance. You may at that time cancel your booking and you will be entitled to a full refund if Voyas Tours Limited is notified at least 24 hours before departure.

 

Cancellation

You or any member of your party may cancel your booking or part of it once it has been confirmed but the cancellation will, unless otherwise agreed, only be valid if made in writing to Voyas Tours Limited via email to bookings@voyastours.com or sent to 8 Innes Avenue Molendinar, Queensland – Australia 4214.

 

The following cancellation charges apply:

  • Coach Tours (except below) – A full refund will be made if Voyas Tours is informed at least 72 hours before departure.
  • Private Tours – A full refund will be made if Voyas Tours is informed at least 8 days before departure.
  • Canyoning Tour – Once booked there are no refunds made unless Voyas Tours manages to re-sell the tour ticket.
  • All Other Tours, that include Cruises Tours – We operate a no refund policy. Once booked we cannot offer you a refund.
  • Hotel and theater packages cannot be cancelled within 35 days of the package date.

If you fail to inform Voyas Tours of your cancellation before the tour departs, you will be charged 100% of the price of the tour. 

Our Cancellation Rights

We reserve the right in any circumstances (including failure to reach sufficient numbers) to cancel your booking. In this event we will return to you all money you have paid to us, or if possible we will offer you an alternative tour product of a similar value.

 

Alterations

If you want to change any of the details of your booking we reserve the right to make an amendment charge of AUD $10 per person as a contribution to our administrative expenses. All amendments must be notified to us in writing by the person who made the original booking. We reserve the right to make alterations to your booking if necessary. If alteration is necessary we will endeavor to make sure that changes are minor and we will advise you at the earliest possible date. If a major change becomes necessary we will inform you as soon as is reasonably possible. A major change is one that involves a material change to the advertised tour, the time of departure or return by more than twelve hours, or offering accommodation with a lower official classification than advertised. When a major change occurs, provided it does not arise from circumstances amounting to force majeure (see below), you will have the choice of either accepting the change of arrangements or cancelling your booking. We will not pay you compensation if we have to cancel or change your travel arrangements in any way because of unusual or unforeseeable circumstances beyond our control. These can include, for example, war, riot, industrial dispute, terrorist activity and its consequences, natural or nuclear disaster, fire, adverse weather conditions, epidemics and pandemics, unavoidable technical problems with transport.  

 

Complaints

In the unlikely event that you have experience any problems, you should in the first instance report the matter to a representative of Voyas Tours Limited and should be reported within two months of travel date. If the matter is not then satisfactorily resolved please address any complaints to Voyas Tours, 8 Innes Avenue Molendinar, Queensland – Australia 4214. 

 

Other Travelling Conditions

Some of the tours may involve third parties whose terms and conditions apply. Some of the tours are also unescorted and while every effort has been made to provide the customer with a safe and enjoyable tour, Voyas Tours Limited cannot accept responsibility for events beyond our control.

Where you have booked travel by air, land or sea with a third party such travel will be subject to the terms and conditions of carriage of the airline, shipping, rail or coach company providing the transport. Should anyone be refused admission to the coach, ferry or flight or to the destination country by the transport or government authority, we cannot be held responsible. This includes any passenger who fails to advise us of any medical condition or disability. If you are prevented from traveling as a result, our responsibility for the booking thereupon ceases. Full cancellation charges will apply and we will be under no obligation whatsoever for any refund, compensation or loss you may incur.

Please note on some occasions the tour itinerary details may differ from the ones advertised.

 

Travel Insurance

Personal insurance is not included. We advise that all customers should take out appropriate travel insurance.

 

Pick-Up Points and Times

Please note that date of departure and collection timings are subject to change or cancellation should unforeseen circumstances occur.

All our pick-up points are subject to a minimum number of passengers. In the unlikely event that there are insufficient passengers booked at your chosen pick-up, you will be asked to make your way to the nearest available pick-up. Should you need to change your pick-up point this must be notified to us prior to this. You must not assume that you can go to another collection point. Please be on time as we cannot be responsible or liable for any loss or expense suffered.

 

Collection point

Please wait by the concierge desk at your designated hotel unless otherwise stated. If you are unsure of where this is, it is your responsibility to find out. We are happy to provide advice however please call in advance (preferably the evening before a tour is due to depart). Due to driving hours regulations we do not return to every hotel. We do however drop off at convenient locations across London and your guide will be happy to advise you on how to return to your hotel from these points.

 

Alcohol, Smoking & Drugs

Australian Federal and State Government Regulations prohibit smoking, the consumption of alcohol and the conveyance or ingestion of illicit drugs on coaches. Passengers under the influence of alcohol or illicit drugs will not be permitted to board the coach.

 

Disruptive Behavior

Persons behaving in a disruptive manner may be removed from the coach at the sole discretion of the driver.

 

General Conditions

 

Withdrawal

We may at our discretion require a person to withdraw from any tour if we deem their conduct to be offensive or to cause annoyance to other passengers and we shall have no further liability for the carriage of such passengers. Passengers are advised that they need to return to a tour at the time stated by the guide. A maximum period of ten minutes will be allowed for late running passengers before the tour moves on.

 

Fitness to Travel

We strive to give all our customers full care and attention, but we do need to know at the time of booking if there are any special needs or requirements. It is particularly important that we are advised of any disabilities and also if you intend to bring any specialist equipment such as a wheelchair with you. If you have suffered from a serious medical condition recently, then you should consult with your Doctor about your fitness to travel.

Please note some tours involve a moderate to high amount of walking, therefore we ask customers to check with us in advance if they feel this may be an issue.

 

Special Requests

There are only a limited number of front seats on coaches, buses. We cannot guarantee to meet all requests but will do our best to oblige. We should therefore be notified as early as possible of any special requirements.

 

Accident, Loss or Inconvenience

We accept no liability for loss, damage, delay, inconvenience, or direct or consequential loss, however caused, unless due to our employee’s negligence, in which case our liability is limited to a maximum of the tour cost. On rare occasions a coach without air-conditioning and without Wi-Fi may be used.  Please note that our buses do not have Wi-Fi facility.

 

Third parties

A person who is not a party to these terms shall not have any rights under or in connection with them.

 

Governing Law

These Terms and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with it or its subject matter or formation (including non-contractual disputes or claims) shall be governed by and construed in accordance with English law and the parties irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Queensland, Australia.

 

Airport Transfer Terms and Conditions

 

Departures

To ensure passengers connect with their respective flights Voyas Transfers passengers should aim to be ready and waiting outside their accommodation, house or designated pick-up address at least 5 minutes prior to their scheduled pick-up time. Voyas Transfers endeavours at all times to keep waiting times to a minimum, although in the case of exceptional circumstances that occur beyond our control, we are not responsible for delays incurred.

 

Domestic Arrivals

Domestic passengers are met near luggage carousel. We allow up to 30 minutes for baggage collection and waiting time as standard, the driver will be wearing a distinctive T-shirt Voyas Transfers Logo. It is essential to make contact with the driver.

 

International Arrivals

International passengers are met at the shuttle meeting sign near the luggage Carousel.

We allow up to 1 hour for passengers to clear customs , the driver will be wearing a distinctive tshirt with Voyas Transfers Logo. It is essential to make contact with the driver. After you disembark from your aircraft, please ensure your mobile is switched on so that your driver can make contact with you.

If you have cleared Customs, and after 15 minutes, you cannot make contact with your driver, please call Voyas Transfers on 0455 162 505, if you don’t have Australian number yet you can call us through Whatsapp or Viber via free wifi connection at the airport. Please add our number 0455 162 505 or international +61 405 162 505.

Our buses depart from Byron Bay bus Stop and Gold Coast Airport we also available at Varsity Lakes Train Station(on request).

 

Late Flights Arrivals

Passengers that are booked on the last shuttle service out of the airport for the day, that arrive on a delayed flight and miss their allocated pick up will need to make alternative arrangements at their own expense. Voyas Transfers is not responsible for any flights that are delayed. However, if your flight has been delayed and you are not on the last service of the day, please contact the reservations office 0455 162 505 and we will place you on the next available service out of the airport. It is strongly advisable for passengers to reconfirm their transfer 24 hours prior to travel. However a text will be sent with driver contact and confirmation details the day prior to travel.

Due to Government regulation, smoking and the consumption of alcohol is against the law on all shuttle bus services.

Under no circumstances shall Voyas Transfers be responsible for any claim, loss or damage suffered by a passenger caused by use of the service by the passenger or the purchase of a ticket by the passenger, including without limitation loss or damage caused by delay, cancellation of the service or abandonment during the course of a service, accident, mechanical breakdown, loss of luggage, burglary, theft or fire, or any other act or neglect of Voyas Transfers servants, agents or employees acting within the course of their employment.

Children

All children under the age of 16 years must be accompanied by a chaperon aged 16 years or over.

A seat must be purchased for all children.

We strongly recommend that all infants / children traveling on any Voyas Transfers service , are restrained in an appropriate “child restraint” or “booster seat” that is applicable to their age or size, as is considered an appropriate “restraint / booster” by “Road Safety Road Rules 2009”. The decision of the parent / guardian is at their sole discretion, and Voyas Transfers/we accept no responsibility or liability in any way for the decision made by the parent / guardian or any loss or damage, or any cost or expense incurred by any person as a direct or indirect consequence of that decision. Where the child is of a suitable age / size, as a minimum the seat belts provided should be used. Children will not be seated in the front row, unless all the other seats are taken up by other children.

 

Travel Insurance

Travel insurance is highly recommended when making all travel arrangements.

 

Baggage Pricing & Information

Luggage is limited to one suitcase and one piece of hand luggage per person. Please advise Voyas Transfers of any additional luggage at time of booking. Passengers will then be advised of any additional charges that may be incurred. Please clearly label your luggage with your name and residential address. Passengers are advised to purchase travel insurance prior to their departure as Voyas Transfers takes no responsibility against any loss or damage.

  • Excess luggage – $5 .00 per extra piece
  • Surfboards – $5.00 per board bag
  • Bike in Bike Box – $5.00 per box
  • Golf Clubs – $5.00 Per Set

Surfboards must be less than 2 meters, if they exceed 2 meters we may need a surfboard trailer.

Excess luggage falling outside the above groups, will have the cost confirmed by the driver upon boarding. If excess luggage not booked with office does not fit on bus your transfer may be cancelled on the spot.

 

Cancellation Policy

  •     Cancellation less than 24 hours – NIL REFUND
  • Failure to board bus – NIL REFUND
  • Cancellation in excess of 24 hours – $10.00 cancellation fee
  • Minimum cancellation fee of $10.00

 

Pricing Policy

All prices are shown in Australian dollars.

Updates & Amendments

Voyas Transfers may at any time amend this website’s terms and conditions without notice. All amendments are posted on the website and will take effect immediately.

 

Bookings

  1. After submitting the booking form we will send an email/or sms to inform you of availability and to confirm the pick-up time, airport meeting point, contact phone numbers and all associated costs and details.
  2. All return bookings (pick-ups from the airport) must be secured or paid for either on your date of departure from Gold Coast Airport with your driver.
  3. An additional $3.00 transaction fee will apply if using a credit card when paying on the bus, this does not apply to online Credit card payments.
  4. Voyas Transfers accepts no liability or responsibility for delayed or cancelled flights and delays due to traffic and traffic accidents. If for any reason we fail to pickup our passengers on the designated date and/or time, we shall not be responsible for the payment of airfares, accommodation, taxi fares, train fares or bus fares or any other related expenses.
  5. Refunds will only occur in the instance where we fail to provide service during our operating hours (6:00am-10.00pm). If your flight into Gold Coast Airport is delayed or cancelled, phone us so that we may inform you of the next available bus departing the airport.
  6. Our buses run to a schedule and our drivers, by law, must adhere to government regulated driving hours. If your delayed flight arrives at a time that does not suitably connect with our scheduled bus departure times, we are under no obligation to provide you with a pickup at a time that is outside our scheduled operating hours.
  7. Voyas Transfers cannot guarantee our buses will operate to the exact times that passengers are booked in for or the availability of seats hence, vacancies may not always be available at the time/s you require to travel.
  8. All internet bookings will be processed and will then be confirmed by email and/or SMS text. If you do not receive confirmation please contact office. We will not be responsible for any bookings not confirmed by our office.
  9. Voyas Transfers allows a 15 minute pickup window, all efforts are made to pick up customers at designated meeting points, however without mobile or direct contact this sometimes proves to be difficult. No responsibility is taken for passengers not collected who are not at the designated meeting points or without mobile contact.
